and freedom from wounds caused by Substance/emotional abuse and other self destructive habits and addictions? Do you feel like there is no Hope and there seems to be no one that you can turn to for help and understanding?
The fact of the matter is that you are not alone or any different from any other human being. We are all bent on the propensity to self gratification and desiring to have things are own way. Unfortunately no one can say that they do not feel the battle that goes on within us to decide between doing what "feels good" (Temporary fulfillment) or doing what is right (eternal purpose) Yet just as we have a set of laws in physics there are laws of the spiritual world that has been set in place. We know that we are physical because we can "see" our self in our physical bodies but what we don't realize is that we also are created as spiritual beings. Man spends much of his time focusing on our physical needs but very little time is spent learning about our spiritual needs. I believe that this happens basically because of ignorance. "My people perish for a lack of knowledge". I also believe that this is the cause of our societies biggest problem today. People are unfulfilled and hurting because of the neglect of our spiritual identities. The SAFETY NET is a program being developed upon the concept of meeting the spiritual needs of a person which has been proven to effectively restore hope and Freedom back to the one suffering from depression, violence, drug addiction, alcoholism, promiscuity, selfishness, laziness, bitterness, resentment, disrespect, anxiety, panic/fear ...and other ‘obsessive’ and negative personality traits. .
Our premise for recovery stands on spiritual principals which go way back to the root of our problem which is.. While man was created in the image of God and given dominion over the earth, he decided to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil... this may sound like a fairy tale to some but really think about it... what is the cause of most of humanities problems and suffering today? Is it not because everyone bases their reality upon their own perspective of right and wrong? And by doing so we end up with conflicts... often even between our "self" we want to do what is right but we fail miserably almost every time.. The truth is that we dont know how to handle such knowledge without the love and help of God. Man is not a self-created being.. Which means that we were not created to live independently of our source of Life.. In fact.. just the opposite.. We were specifically created by Love to share in the joy of our existence! When we live according to our own understanding without faith in the One that created us we become a product of our own devices... No one is exempt from this Truth..
Joy, Love, Peace, all that is good is in the hands of a loving creator that wants to share all of His creation with us.. but He cant when we dont even believe that He is here...

The SAFETY NET has been working with faith-based organizations which are typically 8-10 month residential programs that provides an
opportunity for people to change their perspective on all things in
life, during a 'vacation' from 'life as usual'. This program is
effective only with people who are truly willing, who are 'desperate'
for change.
This pleasant alternative to drug-based solutions, and 'daily meetings'
is free of charge, and applies the teachings of Jesus of Nazareth in a
very kind and powerful way.
THE FOCUS of The SAFETY NET is really the problem of ‘personality disorders’.

On July 19th 2009 our board members were honored with meeting the Rev. James Bracken founder of Mission Teens and many others from the organization including the new directors of the Greenville center Richard and Bridgette (Kleinmann) Clark.
UPDATE! as of 2/22/10
"Set Free" Mission Bible Training Center has been up and running since October 2009 and is now housing over 32 resident students from all over the country. On Sunday February 21st Riverside Baptist Church baptized 18 new students from the training center after an awesome presentation on the importance of being baptized by Pastor Mike Chambers.
